The Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2010 contain nutrition guidelines you can use to make healthful food choices based on scientific research. The United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA’s) MyPlate helps put the Dietary Guidelines into practice.

This module presents the nutrition guidelines outlined in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2010 and MyPlate.
